About the Mary Ellen LoPresti Publication Award
Past LoPresti Award Winners
The ARLIS/NA Southeast LoPresti Award Committee is pleased to announce the 37th Annual Mary Ellen LoPresti Art Publication Awards Competition for publications copyrighted in 2020.
Museums and galleries, educational institutions, libraries, organizations, and commercial presses are encouraged to submit publications for consideration. All publications will be judged on the quality of content and book design within the appropriate category. The number of items that may be submitted is not restricted.
Only art and architecture books, exhibition catalogues, electronic publications (DVDs), serials, and artist’s books published/copyrighted during the 2020 calendar year in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, or the Virgin Islands are eligible for consideration for the 2021 award. In-house newsletters, posters, invitations, and other promotional material will not be considered.
Entries should be received by August 31, 2021, to be considered. There is no entry fee, but ARLIS/NA Southeast reserves the right to retain all works submitted for consideration.

We’re pleased to announce that Britt Boler is the recipient of the 2017 ARLIS/NA-SE Professional Development Travel Award! Britt is the Art and Design Library Research Assistant at Florida State University. The meeting in New Orleans will be her first ARLIS/NA annual conference. Be sure to stop by her poster titled “Facsimiles as Open Access for Interactive Research.” Britt looks forward to meeting art library professionals and engaging in the variety of sessions ARLIS/NA offers.

As a reminder, entries for the 32nd Annual Mary Ellen LoPresti Art Publication Award (for materials copyrighted 2015) should be received by September 30, 2016 to be considered. For more information including submission details, see the LoPresti Award call for entries.
On behalf of the 2016 ARLIS/NA-SE Travel Award Committee, we are pleased to announce that Breanne Crumpton is our 2016 ARLIS/NA-SE Professional Development Travel Award winner!
Breanne is the GSK Library Fellow at the North Carolina Museum of Art and a member of ARLIS/NA and ARLIS/NA-SE. She is the Conference Planning Liaison for ArLiSNAP and a member of the subcommittee for ARLIS/NA research awards. She hopes to grow her network of colleagues and build her knowledge of current issues and practices in art librarianship. She is especially looking forward to attending sessions on library advocacy.
